The Set Time Off Tab
I'm going to go out on a limb here - this tab may look a little familiar. Yes, at it's simplest we have updated the Vacation Tab to the Set Time Off Tab. Ta-da.
Here's why: vacation is fun, exciting, a chance to travel or not travel, it's an opportunity to relax or maybe get stuff done. But when you're not in the office for reasons that aren't vacation-related, and you have to mark it as vacation, well, that's not fun for anybody.We want you to Set Time Off whenever you have a full week away from your sales activities. Be that for training or a conference, because of something fun like vacation, or for something less fun like medical reasons or family emergencies. It's as important in eSB 4 as it's always been to accurately reflect when you're in the office working hard and when you're away. This helps to maintain the integrity of information in the system and provide you the most accurate feedback and analysis of your information.
I think this makes a lot of sense - I was out last year for surgery and had to put down "vacation" for three weeks and the head of the region kept asking my manager about it.
