As the World Cup starts, we to are excited for a major summer event as well...the launch of eScoreBoard 4.0!!!

Earlier today our developers and engineers, after nearly a year of hard work, released eScoreBoard 4.0 to the world.  As big as a moment as this is for SAM and our team, we realize that it is even bigger for our clients.  We didn't reach the finish line today, rather, we just got to the start line.

eScoreBoard Release Date & New Feature Demos

After months of hard work, the eScoreBoard Team is ready to start sharing the fruits of all their labor.  Details of our upcoming release as well as free product demos are detailed below.

MAINTENANCE WINDOW:

eScoreBoard will be down starting at 7 AM on the morning of Saturday, June 12th.  Even if you left an eScoreBoard window open, you will receive an error message when you try and submit any information.  We anticipate the update to eScoreBoard 4 to take a few hours and should be up-and-running around 12 PM on Saturday, June 12th.

CHANGES YOU NEED TO MAKE:

None.  Your same user ID and password will work.  You'll continue to receive activity reminders and scheduled reports as previously scheduled.

DEMOS:
Each week from now through July we will host 2 weekly demos focusing on the new features of eScoreBoard 4.  One demo will present eScoreBoard from a manager's point-of-view while the other from a producers.

Each demo will last approximately 30 minutes, with 20 minutes dedicated to product review and 10 minutes for Q&A.

My Administrators

One of the most common challenges with setting up eScoreBoard for our clients is determining who has access and at what level.  Well, I guess it's more of a financial challenge because each user requires a license and who really want to pay more if you don't have to, especially in this economy.

We created "administrator" accounts in eScoreBoard 4 to address this issue.  Any licensed user can create an administrator account and give someone else in their office access to their account.  You can even control the level of access the administrator has (what pages they can or can not see) .  The administrator will have a single user id and password but can access multiple licensed users if desired.

This feature will be really helpful for a manager preparing for her weekly one-on-one's with her producers or for the office assistant who is responsible for assuring each producer has their activity numbers in each week.

Stay tuned for our next post where we'll share with you some of the support material we are putting in place to aid our clients with the roll out of eScoreBoard 4.
